Kabul: At least 12 Taliban militants were killed and seven others wounded during operations by Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) in Afghanistan's Kandahar province.
The operations were carried out on Thursday in Maiwand and Zherai districts.
"12 Taliban were killed and 7 others were wounded in Maiwand and Zherai districts of Kandahar province during reciprocal operation of #ANDSF, last night," a Ministry of Defence tweet read.
