Kabul: The Taliban suffered heavy casualties in several districts of Afghanistan's Nangarhar province as 82 militants were either killed or wounded during operations by security force members on Friday.
The operations were carried out by ANDSF in Zherai, Panjwae, Maiwand, Mainshin and Shahwali Kot districts of the province.
During the reciprocal operations, 60 militants were killed and 22 others were injured.
Weapons and ammunition were also seized by the forces.
