Islamabad: Gilgit-Baltistan leader and activist Sajjad Raja has targeted the Pakistani government and said it is only busy “persecuting the opposition leaders”.
The activist attacked the government over the arrest of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif.
He said in the country nobody can dare to challenge the army generals.
"In Pakistan, a military garrison, there is no justice, army officers and their families have got a free hand for corruption and looting. The politicians from opposition parties are the ones who are being persecuted and punished," he tweeted.

Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) President and Leader of Opposition in National Assembly, Shehbaz Sharif, was arrested on Monday after his bail plea in the money laundering case was rejected by the Lahore High Court (LHC).
The LHC had extended the pre-arrest bail of Shehbaz earlier this month as arguments of his counsel were in progress. The court had directed his counsel to conclude arguments during the next hearing.
PML-N information secretary Marriyam Aurangzeb alleged that the arrest was ''an act of political victimisation' by the government.
