Kangra/UNI: A Dharamshala-based Congress activist has urged Rahul Gandhi to hold the reins of the Party to steer clear of the vacuum and a state of indecisiveness over the leadership issue of Party president.
In a letter to Gandhi, party worker RK Prashar said that due to health issues, it would not be wise to overburden current AICC chief Sonia Gandhi to aggressively take on the Narenra Modi government's repressive and flawed policies.
He said it was a common perception among the party cadres all over the country that Gandhi must lead the Party as its president. He said it was only Gandhi, who had the potential and political acumen to withstand the ruling BJP's onslaught.
