Kabul: An explosion hit Afghanistan's capital city Kabul on Monday morning after a suicide bomber detonated his explosive near a religious gathering, reports said.
According to provincial police officials, casualties are feared, though the toll is not clear as of now.
Over 2,000 religious scholars had gathered at Polytechnic University in Kabul, condemning the ongoing war in Afghanistan.
The explosion took place while they were leaving, witnesses said.
