Kabul: A gun attack by unknown assailants has killed at least two soldiers near a voter registration booth in Afghanistan's Khost province, reports said.
The incident took place in Mandozayi district at around 11 am on Saturday.
The two deceased have been identied as members of the local police and Afghan National Army respectively.
They were fatally shot by two men who approached the site wearing burqas.
An investigation has been initiated to nab the gunmen.
No group has so far claimed the attack.
