ABOUT THE BERGHOF FOUNDATION

The Berghof Foundation Operations gGmbH is a private and independent non-governmental organization. We support committed people, conflict parties and institutions worldwide in their efforts to create sustainable peace and are now looking for a responsible, committed person for the area of Office Management for our team and the Georg Zundel Haus in Tübingen.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Office organization: purchasing and material procurement, mail distribution and shipping, telephone service, coordination with the office in Berlin.
• Organization of service providers for tasks such as house cleaning, maintenance, gardening. Management of contracts.
• Garden care and building maintenance in addition to service providers: maintenance of outdoor areas and green spaces as well as minor repairs in/on the building, kitchen supervision
• Events : Support in the preparation and implementation of events, including the rental of seminar rooms.
• Technical support: Help with the support of event technology and support in the IT area for our team. This includes adapting PC profiles, handing over PCs to new colleagues, preparing video conferences (sound and camera)

YOUR KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• General technical skills to carry out minor repairs and maintenance work independently or to organize them well.
• Interest in and knowledge of technology: Laptops and PCs, mobile devices, video conferencing technology, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel are our main tools for our work.
• Able to solve problems: Sometimes there are technical and organizational problems in the office. Identify problems early and find solutions, act in a service-oriented manner and coordinate within the team so that everyone can plan.
