State of Health Pakistan registers 44 fresh COVID-19 deaths in past 24 hours

Islamabad: Pakistan registered 44 new deaths due to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, media reports said.
During the same period, 3,019 new cases were registered.
According to the National Command and Operation Centre's (NCOC) website, 56,260 coronavirus tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, of which 3,019 returned positive, reports Geo News.
The rate of positive cases during the last 24 hours was 5.36 percent, the Pakistani news channel reported.
