State of Health Bangladesh registers one more death due to COVID-19

Dhaka: Bangladesh, the nation which recorded a spike in COVID- 19 cases earlier this year, recorded one new death due to the deadly virus in the past 24 hours, media reports said.
The death toll due to the disease now stands at 28,048.
The COVID-19 caseload rose to 1,581,083 as 211 people tested positive for the disease in the 24 hours to 8 am on Sunday, according to the latest government data, reports bdnews24.
Dhaka, the capital city of the country, registered 172 infections.
Nationwide, another 168 people recovered from the illness, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,545,571, reports the news portal.
