Seoul: South Korea has reported the highest number of daily Covid-19 infected cases since March.
On Wednesday, officials in Seoul reported 297 cases, forcing the government to bolster measures.
Of the reported figures, 252 patients were from the greater Seoul area.
The spike has forced authorities to shut down museums, nightclubs and karaoke bars in and around the national capital.
The rise in cases has been linked to a church congregation.
