Belarus sees COVID-19 cases increase to over 2,500

Minsk/Xinhua: The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Belarus has risen to 2,578, the health ministry said on Sunday.

The last 24 hours saw an increase of 352 cases, the ministry said, adding those infected are mostly showing mild or moderate symptoms.

The ministry also said that 203 people have so far recovered, while 26 people have died from the COVID-19 pandemic.
