Moscow/Sputnik: Russian peacekeepers will be deployed in the unrecognized republic of Nagorno-Karabakh along the corridor connecting the region with Armenia and along the contact line, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
Earlier, the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan adopted a joint statement on cessation of hostilities in Karabakh.
"A Russian peacekeeping contingent is being deployed along the contact line in Nagorno-Karabakh and along the corridor connecting Nagorno-Karabakh with the Republic of Armenia," Putin said in a statement broadcast on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
