Washington/Tehran: US President Donald Trump went all out on Twitter after his Iranian counterpart, Hassan Rouhani, warned America to not 'play with the lion's tail'.
In response to Rouhani's 'mother of all war' jibe, the US President, in an all caps tweet, directed towards Iran's President, cautioned him to be careful with his words or his country will face an unprecedented consequences.
"NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!" Trump's tweet read.

According to Iranian state-run news agency IRNA, Rouhani, while addressing diplomats on Sunday, had warned the USA to back out from a war against Iran.
"[America] must understand that war with Iran is the mother of all wars and peace with Iran is the mother of all peace," the President was quoted by IRNA as saying.
He also threatened Trump to "...not play with the lion's tail, because you will regret it eternally."
America and Iran's bilateral ties have hit a new low under the leadership of Donald Trump. His administration has ditched the nuclear pact with Iran, which was inked by former US President Barack Obama, thus, invoking Tehran's wrath.
Iran and the USA are also at loggerheads pertaining to oil exports.
According to reports, oil prices in the USA have shot up owing to conflict between the two nations.
