Kabul, Jul 4 (JEN): Kabul police have apprehended a key Taliban commander from the city, local Khaama Press reported.
The police have identified the detailed leader as Abdul Rahim, who was arrested during an operation by the Afghan intelligence bureau.
According to a police statement, Rahim was in the city to carry out a series of coordinated attacks.
In the past, he had carried out multiple attacks, the statement read.
The Taliban has not commented regarding the arrest so far.
