Environment/Science Infosys organizes 'Clean Day'

Bangalore, Jan 30 (JEN): Infosys on Friday organized a cleanliness initiative at its Bangalore campus in an endeavor to create ambassadors of a sustainable tomorrow.
The ‘Clean Day’ initiative is aimed at strengthening awareness on effective waste management and facilitating behavioural changes towards sanitation among Infoscions.
The day-long initiative had a wide range of programs to enable employees with knowledge and skills to drive this change.

Highly interactive in nature, the event employed a mix of fun activities and engaging learning sessions to equip Infoscions with effective waste management as well as organic composting methodologies. In addition, a musical event and ‘Run for a clean India’ were also organized to make the experience more entertaining and engaging.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response and reached out to over 25, 000 employees in the campus.
Sustainability has been a core business principle at Infosys since its inception. Infosys has been consistently driving initiatives to build responsible citizenship among Infoscions around the world and launched its ‘I, Citizen of Earth’ (iCOE) program in 2010 to create a culture of heroism through responsible citizenship. The focus of the iCOE is to integrate sustainability principles in practice and create more ambassadors of a cleaner and greener tomorrow.
