Dhaka: Bangladesh has reported 29 more deaths from Covid-19 on Friday.
The deaths took place within 24 hours, in between Thursday and Friday.
With the latest casualties, the death toll has touched 4,412.
The total number of infected patients stood at 321,615, according to official figures.
Among the 29 deaths, 22 belonged to men and seven to women.
Dhaka division reported 14 deaths, while Rajshahi recorded four.
Three deaths were reported from Barishal, two each from Chittagong, Khulna, Mymensingh and Rangpur divisions.
So far, 3,454 men and 958 women have died with Covid-19 in Bangladesh.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), 13,369 samples were collected in the last 24 hours, out of which 1,929 people tested positive.
The overall recovery rate stood at 67.22 percent as 216,191 people have been cured across the nation.
So far, 26,502,437 people have been infected by the virus, across countries.
While 873,803 people have died, 18,684,199 people have recovered.
