Dhaka: Alleged extremist elements have vandalised the ISKCON Radhakanta temple in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka city on Thursday, media reports said.
"On the night of shab-e-barat, Extremists are again attacking the Wari Radhakanta #ISKCON temple in Dhaka. We are requesting to all the Hindus to play their role in protecting the temple," The Voice of Bangladeshi Hindus, an organization working for the welfare of the minority Hindu community in that country, tweeted.

The group said the attackers vandalized the ISKCON temple in front of the police.

The group also shared several videos and images of the alleged incident.

Hindu American Foundation tweeted: " We’re receiving reports that an @iskcon temple in Dhaka, Bangladesh has been attacked by a mob of 150 people, with 3 people injured. Will update with more info as we get it. @StateDept @USCIRF."
