Kabul: Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Kabul on Thursday for his first official visit to Afghanistan.
Khan would meet President Ashraf Ghani and other Afghan leaders and discuss bilateral ties, economic development, afghan peace process and connectivity.
"The Prime Minister’s program includes tete-e-tete with President Ashraf Ghani, delegation-level talks, and joint press stake-out. The focus would be on further deepening the fraternal bilateral relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan, the Afghan peace process, and regional economic development and connectivity," an official statement by Pakistan's Foreign Ministry said.
Khan is accompanied by Pakistan's Foreign Minister, Adviser for Commerce and Investment, and senior officials.
