Washington: US President Donald Trump has threatened to stop payments to three countries in Central and South America if they enable immigrants or their own citizens to illegally enter the USA through their borders.
Trump said that the US government has informed El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras of consequences.
"We have today informed the countries of Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador that if they allow their citizens, or others, to journey through their borders and up to the United States, with the intention of entering our country illegally, all payments made to them will STOP (END)!" the US President said.
