Trump's 'mine bigger than yours' tweet angers Twitterverse

Washington, Jan 3 (JEN): US President Donald Trump is a gifted man! He has a penchant for offending people with his blatant use of words (read tweets), something he does often.

On Tuesday, Trump said the following: "North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the “Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.” Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!"

The statement was enough to anger the Twitterverse.

Several users reportedly asked if the US President was well, while some of them called him outright insane.

Reacting to Trump's tweet, Bishop Talbert Swan said that the US President is easily played by Kim Jong-un.

"POTUS is so easily baited! KJU plays him like a pair of bongos and #Trump takes the bait every time! Shameful that America’s president is unhinged and cannot resist his compulsion to attack and have the last word. Grow up for crying out loud Mr. 45!" the pastor said.

Another user, Chris Harris, commented: "Worst. President. Ever."

Several users have also pleaded the US President to stop tweeting about such things, stating that it's no joke.

Tammy Sorensen said, "I don't even have words. Jesus. Stop. Just stop."

Michael T Murphy said, "A thermonuclear war isn’t a joke. You don’t brag about “I have a button on my desk that can launch the world into a thermonuclear war!”

Trump's tweet has received more than 101 thousand comments, most of which condemn the President.

However, it has also received 257 thousand likes and has been retweeted another 107 thousand times.

It was tweeted in response to Kim's comment, who has said earlier: "The US should know that the button for nuclear weapons is on my desk. This is not blackmail but reality.”
