Defying the Western appeals and triggering their outrage, Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday announced a  military operation in Ukraine urging the Ukrainian soldiers  to lay down their arms. "I have made the decision of a military operation," Vladimir Putin said  in Moscow. In an address on national television,  Putin announced military action in Donbas, urging Ukrainian forces to lay down their arms and go home.
