• Provide background research and analysis for the development of evidence-based policy papers and submissions to relevant public consultations
• Liaise with TI national chapters on relevant policy and advocacy opportunities as part of the GACC project
• Support the analysis of information from varied and diverse sources for messaging and communication purposes
• Draft messaging and communication products in coordination with the Communications Team
• Support the development of funding proposals
• Contribute to monitoring, evaluation and learning activities
Knowledge, experience and skills:
• Masters’ degree or equivalent, preferably in law, political science, economics or another relevant field
• At least two years of relevant work experience in the fields of anti-corruption or good governance; specific experience on research and policy work related to natural resources, state capture or anti-money laundering an advantage
• Experience in working with large datasets an advantage
• Some experience in coordinating research projects on time and to budget
• Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and maintain a professional approach
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team in a multi-cultural environment
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in English required; fluency in other languages, in particular French and/or Spanish, an asset
• IT proficiency, especially with social media applications
• Entrepreneurial, creative and opportunity-driven mind-set
• Commitment to the values and goals of Transparency International
