The Programs Analyst is a vital member of the CGIAR System Organization’s Programs Unit, which is responsible for supporting, and further developing, effective delivery of impactful agricultural research-for-development across the portfolio of CGIAR-wide research programs and platforms.

Summary of the Position
The Programs Analyst supports delivery of the current research portfolio and the design of key components of research architecture and strategy for the 2022-2030 phase,
organized towards delivering on the Sustainable Development Goals. Under the supervision of the Deputy Director, Programs, key tasks will include rapid collection, analysis
and presentation of scientific and programmatic information; preparation of proposals and contracts; and management of data systems and document preparation processes.

Required:

University degree in relevant field (agriculture, rural development, social sciences, biological sciences)
At least 2 years post-qualification experience in a similar or related position
Preferred:

Master’s degree in relevant field (agriculture, rural development, social sciences, biological sciences
Previous working experience in one or more low-income countries
Previous working experience in an international organization and/or in a complex or multi-faceted environment
