Kabul: A group of Taliban terrorists and suicide bombers attacked an army base in Afghanistan's southern Helmand province on Friday, media reports said.
As per media reports, the attack was launched by the attackers on 215th Maiwand Corps headquarters.
The media office of the provincial government has announced that the attack was immediately repulsed by the security forces leaving at least 3 suicide bombers and 6 other militants dead, reported Afghanistan's Khaama Press.
A clearance operation is currently going on in the area.
