Kabul: Unidentified gunmen have shot dead an officer of the National Directorate of Security (NDS) in Kabul city of Afghanistan, media reports said on Saturday.
Mohibullah Sharifzai, Maidan Wardak governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in Qala-i-Kashif area on Friday evening.
The slain person was identified as Feroz.
He was serving in Maidan Wardak province.
As usual, the Taliban claimed responsibility for the killing of the intelligence officer, reported the Afghanistan-based news agency.
