Kabul, Dec 18 (JEN): The police chief of Aab Kamari district in Badghis province of Afghanistan was killed by Taliban insurgents on Sunday night, reports said.
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Rasoul.
Local Tolo News quoted provincial police chief, Abdul Raouf Taj, as saying, "Abdul Rasoul and another policeman were killed in a Taliban ambush when they wanted to help the security forces who were under attack."
The Taliban has not commented on this report so far.
