Humanitarian Response is a newly created portfolio dedicated to strengthen the role of play and learning through play in humanitarian settings. Targeting children through programmatic work with selected partners on the ground, this portfolio will advocate for the importance of early childhood development and education in humanitarian contexts.

Prospectus is delighted to support the LEGO Foundation in the search for a Senior Initiatives Manager for this new portfolio. A strong programme manager and partnership builder, you will play a crucial role in overseeing multiple strategic partnerships and supporting the on-going development of new projects. You will drive impact in different projects in humanitarian contexts and be a passionate advocate for Learning Through Play in vulnerable settings.

Your project management experience will include direct engagement on the ground with other humanitarian stakeholders. With extensive experience in education, child protection and/or early childhood development in international humanitarian contexts, you will have sound leadership skills with the ability to drive systemic change with long term views and large scale impact. Experience in international NGOs or the philanthropy sector is essential.
