ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is key in the development and implementation of Amnesty International's communication strategy for the South East Asia and the Pacific Regional Office (SEAPRO). Working with and as part of the communications team in the regional office, you will help set the direction for integrated communications, ensuring all campaigns and communications messages are communicated in a compelling manner across channels that is relevant to target audiences.

You'll be a skilled and versatile storyteller, able to roll up your sleeves to develop and deliver innovative and locally relevant communications strategies and cross-platform content in support of regional campaign, advocacy and communication objectives, while making sure all communications embody Amnesty International's brand.

You will also have experience in managing a team and network of freelancers, vendors and volunteers to deliver on objectives.

As part of our South East Asia and Pacific regional office in Bangkok you will work in collaboration with colleagues regionally and globally to develop engaging communications for human rights campaigns in the region.

ABOUT YOU
You are an accomplished communicator with experience communicating to South East Asia and Pacific audiences and familiar with regional channels. You are both a strategic big-picture person and a creative thinker. Highly skilled and experienced in writing and developing powerful cross-platform communications for a diverse global audience, you are also fluent at analysing and segmenting audiences, and using this data to inform your content and strategy.

You'll be fluent in reading, writing and spoken English, and ideally have working knowledge of at least one other regional language such as Bahasa, Thai or Vietnamese. You will also have experience working in a complex global organisation with diverse stakeholders and have previous journalism experience.
