DIRECTOR OF MOVEMENT SUPPORT AND EFFECTIVENESS
For over 50 years Amnesty International has brought people together to fight for human rights. Strong organizational leadership and effective collaboration is vital when it comes to the impact of our work. Joining us as Director of the One Amnesty Programme, you'll be at the forefront of driving a stronger and more integrated movement.

ABOUT THE ROLE
In this new role, you will provide strategic oversight and management to ensure implementation of collaborative ways of working across the movement. You will provide leadership to the programme areas required to support and enable national sections and structures to progressively improve human rights and growth outcomes. In addition, you will act as the primary operational interface between the IS and sections/structures at global level and coordinate closely with the Regional Offices to deliver consistently high quality work with sections. This role will be based in London, Dakar, Beirut or Hong Kong.

ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to shape and drive vision across a complex organizational structure, implementing collaboration systems on a global, national and regional level. You will have proven experience working at senior management level in an international context and a track record of leading change across a large and complex organization including organizational effectiveness, organizational development, governance, management, structures and processes.

You will make use of expert knowledge of social change processes to achieve organizational effectiveness. You will have a strong record in human rights and either a deep knowledge of Amnesty International's structure and goals or directly transferable experience. You are driven by your passion for making an organization like Amnesty as powerful as possible in the fight for human rights change.
