Senior Impact Management Expert (m/f)

Working area: Impact & Sustainability Team

Location: Frankfurt am Main
Working hours: Full-time / Part-time

To strengthen our Impact & Sustainability team in the Frankfurt head office, we are looking for a Senior Officer to advance our impact management. The team serves as a knowledge hub and the central contact point responsible for coordinating Finance in Motion’s activities in measuring, strengthening and reporting on our impact.

Key responsibilities:
Stay abreast of trends, research, and new developments in impact measurement and management
Ensure dissemination of knowledge within the growing company, equipping staff with relevant materials and resources on impact management
Work with account managers of Finance in Motion’s impact funds to execute the company’s approach to impact, such as providing support and advising on the successful implementation of impact frameworks
Contribute to the final design and refinement of existing impact methodologies and approaches, providing input from the literature and best practices
Identify and recommend strategic opportunities for the company, for example, identifying ways to improve our impact management
Work with various teams to continuously upgrade impact reporting along with other reporting efforts
Present impact management results to staff and executive leadership and facilitate impact conversations
Communicate the value of impact management to internal and external stakeholders
Represent Finance in Motion at conferences, in working groups, and in other key exchange platforms to continually develop social and environmental impact practices and models within the company
What we expect:

University degree in development finance, social sciences, monitoring & evaluation, or a related field
At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably including exposure to emerging markets
Excellent overview of the impact investing industry and recent trends regarding impact management concepts
Expertise in developing and managing impact frameworks for impact-driven projects or organizations, ideally for impact asset managers or investors
Experience in leading project teams and driving change across teams
Strong analytical skills with the ability to put theory into practice
An open and engaging communication style and great interpersonal skills
Very good organizational skills, proven team orientation, high level of self-motivation, results-driven approach and tenacity, hands-on mentality
Excellent written and spoken English
Proficiency in MS Office
